One of the great things about my college experience in Boston (BU) was the nearly 24 hour International House of Pancakes located in Kenmore Square – a short walk from my apartment. A stack of steaming pancakes at 2:30 AM is a wonderful wonderful thing.
For all that NYC offers, there is no IHOP presence. Sure there are diners that technically serve pancakes too, but it isn’t the same. Where are the five syrup flavors? Where’s the country omlette or the Rooty-tooty-fresh-n-fruity? Or that chocolate one with the face made from whip cream and whatnot?
